In the opening of the film Baby Driver, what is shown is a heist. The film has a close up of an ipod clicking play for a song and the incidental music starts and then the real fun begins. The camera shots include closeups of everyone involved in the heist and shows there sternness and readiness to commit the armed robbery. The close up shots also go in line with the beat of the music. As well as most of all the shots and movement are in time with the music. It shows three of the people, all wearing black with masks and carrying bags for the money and to keep their guns, in the car leaving to rob the and and the driver, main character, sits and waits for them to be done. As he waits he sings along to the music and keeps an eye out for cops and suspicious activity. Once the three are done with the robbery, the alarm starts, and they run the the car and the driver, Baby, speeds away creating a suspenseful time as the cops chase them. During the getaway there are closeups shots of their faces revealing their anxiousness and then happiness as the get way. There are also plenty of jump cuts between different angles of the car swerving and getting away from the cops.  At the end of the opening clip there is a wide, long shot of them going into a different car and driving off unharmed. In the opening title, there is music playing and the sing lyrics are in the scenes as graffiti also known as diegetic sound. This is one long scene with no cuts showing Baby, the main character, getting coffee. The scene goes in and out showing both close ups and wide angles. The opening titles include actors, directors, producers, music, costumes, makeup. The budget of the film was 34 million and the 192.9 million. The show was nominated for Teen choice award for choice summer and won the Golden trailer award, Indiewire critics poll, International online cinema award, National board of review and SXSW film festival.
